Paris is synonymous with style, luxury and fashion legends. To show in Paris is the ultimate achievement for any designer, and this year's PFW talent did not disappoint. As I sit writing this post, on International Women's Day, I notice that there is an undeniably outstanding group of female designers directing the catwalks and dictating the trends in Paris this season. It's so welcoming to see women at the helm of some of the most iconic French labels, including Virginie Viard at Chanel and Maria Grazia Chiuri at Dior, both of whose designs continue to honour the genius of their founders while pushing the boundaries of what it is to be a modern woman. It was also exciting to see so much British female talent, choosing to show in Paris this season, including Stella McCartney, Victoria Beckham and Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. To honour these trailblazing women in fashion, I will feature looks from all female designers in my top 5 takeaway trends from PFW Fall 2023. Here they are...
Top 5 Trends
Asymmetric hemlines- From mini to maxi, hemlines are anything but straight.

Strapless- a definite nod to the noughties, where the strapless dress made an appearance on many PFW catwalks this season.

Spots- mostly monochrome, but in large and small form, spots are a classic, playful pattern that will re-appear and never date.
