Best of Sales: Net A Porter

We're into the first week of June which feels about the right time to start thinking about summer. From gatherings with friends al fresco to upcoming plans for a beachside holiday, you may be noticing a need to upate your summer wardrobe. Luckily, most major retailers are thinking the same which is why there are a host of sales on at the moment, enticing us to bag a last minute deal.

The Net A Porter sale is often the one I look out for and spend countless hours virtually adding to my bag because there is so much on offer and the savings can be signifant. From summer sandals, clourful bags and OTT jewellery, your summer wardrobe is where you can take sartorial risks but may not want to splash too much cash.

When considering pieces to update your wardrobe this time of year look for function and styling. Summer staples can be worn in a variety of ways to create new looks and save you with over-packing. For example, reworking a one-piece bathing suit by day to serve as a body suit paired with a skirt for night; or updating a lightweight beach caftan into a dinner dress with the some costume jewellery and metallic sandals. You get the idea!
